The Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park may acquire the Simkins property

The Land May Soon Become Part of Patapsco Valley State Park

For decades, conservationists have hoped to see the Simkins Industries property become protected as part of Patapsco Valley State Park. Now, that long-held vision may finally be within reach.

This roughly 65-acre property is off of River and Hilltop Roads, running along the Patapsco River toward Ellicott City and spanning both Baltimore and Howard counties.
